Happy Lunar New Year, folks!
A lot has happened since the turn of the new year and yes, I have been lazy af to get you all up to speed. But first, thank you to those who’ve joined my New Year giveaway. I’ll be having more this year, so I hope you continue to watch this space for updates and other things.
So…to the business at hand.
I haven’t mentioned it in this blog (or during the time I was still using Blogger), but I also dabbled into book blogging in Will Read for Feels last year. I wanted to keep my work as a blogger and an author separate, hence I didn’t talk about that side activity in this space. The people who know me (aka my writer friends) are aware that I also read and review books, and it has been an awesome year. I learned a lot about my preferences as a reader, my limits (I barely made the half-mark goal I set for 100 books last year), and of course I also met and discovered great authors who are pretty much on my auto-buy list.
This year, however, things got hella busy and I had to give up book blogging so I could focus on my work as an author. I’m sure some of you have already seen the last video podcast I had with my co-bloggers.
It wasn’t an easy decision to make, but it doesn’t mean the blog’s gone or I won’t be reading and reviewing books anymore. Will Read for Feels will still be around (under Liana’s expert care), and I will still be here to review Filipino-authored books as it is my passion. I hope you continue to support Will Read for Feels as well as my personal endeavor to write more books this year.
Another thing I’d like to announce is that In Over Her Head, my first contemporary romance novella, is part of the Backlist Revival Tour, which aims to bring attention to a previously published indie romance book by having new readers read and review it. If you haven’t read Erika’s story yet, I’m inviting you to join! Signups are until February 15th with reviews to run from the 16th to the 29th! There will be giveaways as well. 🙂
Thank you for your continued support!
